The Pohlad interests have developed to include a variety of
businesses in different industry segments. Founded by Carl
R. Pohlad in the 1950’s, (what was founded by Carl in the ‘50’s)
the initial focus was on banking and related financial services.
Throughout the years, business interests have expanded to include
bottling, real estate, airline and freight operations, film
and production and major league baseball with the Minnesota
Twins.
Today, the Pohlad family remains committed to businesses with
experienced and entrepreneurial management and relationship-based
service. In addition to their business interest, the Pohlad
family has a long history of community involvement, including

Twins Logo Major League Baseball The
Minnesota Twins major league baseball team is the winner of
the 2002, 2003 and 2004 American League Central Division as
well as two World Series Championships. The Twins have been
privately held by the Pohlad Family since 1984.

Pepsi Americas Logo Beverage The
Pohlad interests in the Pepsi business span 36 years and today
consist of an 8.7% interest in PepsiAmericas (NYSE:PAS), the
second largest Pepsi bottler in the world offering a full line
of soft drink beverages with revenue in excess of $3 billion
dollars. Its trademarks include Pepsi, Mt. De, Aquafina, Lipton
Tea, Tropicana and Dr. Pepper. The Company’s territories are
in the central U.S., Caribbean and Central Europe, serving
a combined population in excess of 120 million. PepsiAmericas’ corporate
headquarters are in Minneapolis, MN, while its U.S. operations
are based in Chicago and European operations are based in Budapest,
Hungary. PepsiAmericas employs 15,000 people across its territories.
